4pm Depart NZ from Christchurch. Arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 10:30pm (will feel like 3:30am to us (eep!) because Malaysia is 5 hours behind NZ).

Thursday 5 Jan
10:30am Depart KL for Solo (Surakarta), on the Indonesian island of Java. Travel from Solo to Gadingan. We will be staying in Gadingan for four days, serving Pastor Fera. Indonesia is 6 hours behind NZ time.
Monday 9 Jan
Big day of travelling for us. We fly from Solo to KL, and then later in the day from KL to Kuching. Kuching is in the Malaysian part of the island of Borneo (Kalimantan). We arrive in Kuching around 9:30pm and will stay here for two nights.

Wednesday 11 Jan
8am: Get picked up from our hotel by van and taken across the border to Mount Hope. Mount Hope is in the Indonesian part of Kalimantan, and is a developing, self-sufficient community. Friday 20 Jan
Leave Mt Hope - travel back to Kuching and fly from there to Singapore. We have a couple of days in Singapore for our debrief time.

7pm Kirsten, Joe, and Cherie fly out of Singapore and head back to NZ (arrive in Auckland 10am Monday 23rd). Dani, Lissie, and Matt are taking a few extra days to relax on a beach in Langkawi before coming home :)
